Yesterday we returned from Iceland, I stayed there over the new year. We visited some beautiful picturesque sites. We set off early the morning after we arrived to visit the blue lagoon. We arrived as it was turning light and were able to see some amazing views. The restaurant which had been built next do the lagoon had one side of the building with just glass, a brilliant view point for getting some images without the risk of dropping your camera in.


We enjoyed the warmth of the lagoon, the sauna and steam room  which were alongside the lagoon. Their Silica Mud Mask worked wonders on my skin! I applied it twice while we were in there and my skin felt so smooth and looked so much clearer the next couple of days.
Our final day was spent on The Golden Circle tour, a tour definitely worth doing. We enjoyed the snowy views, watching the Geysir erupt and learnt about the history of Iceland.
Unfortunately we were supposed to go on a boat trip to see the northern lights but it was cancelled due to snow and poor visibility, so I didn't manage to catch any photos!
