Benefit Roller Lash v Benefit They're Real v Lancome | Mascara Review

One night after reading several horror stories on the dangers of semi-permanent eyelashes I decided I was going to attempt (once again) to stop wearing them and only use mascara. Previously when I tried this my eyelashes felt like too short with gaps and I felt bald without my semi-permanent lashes. When I wore mascara I just didn't like the way my eyelashes looked so ended up with my falsies back on. I'm not the best at making decisions and so when I made the decision this time to have them removed I ended up buying all three of the these mascaras at once...

I love love love this mascara for it's blackest of black colour and the thickness it adds to your lashes, however if you're like me and your eyelashes are long but don't curl round much, it might not be the best choice for you. Perfect for people with long naturally curled eyelashes. For the people who weren't born with naturally curled eyelashes I have found that if you wear Benefit Roller lash with a coat of They're Real! on top you get the best of both. I bought this mascara because I had heard so many good things about it and it does live up to its brilliant reviews, however it can start to look a little clumpy and like spiders legs if you build it up too much.

Personally this is my absolute favourite, I love how this mascara can actually curl your eyelashes upwards! Great for people with long straight eyelashes. You don't actually need many coats for it to do it's job either. This mascara appealed to me as I had read that it was similar to the Benefit They're Real! but with the ability to curl your eyelashes too however it isn't as black as They're Real! But as I said above you can add a coat to create the colour. The brush really separates all of your lashes fanning them out.

I decided to buy this mascara after borrowing my mums, the brush prevents the mascara from clumping up so it clings smoothly onto each individual eyelash, not clumping several together. It's best for a natural look mascara, very black and lengthens the look of your eyelashes, it doesn't curl them that much so an eyelash curler might be best to use with this however it does curl more than Benefit They're Real!

Since I bought the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara I haven't worn my semi-permanent lashes again! I am still amazed at how much it can curl your eyelashes up. I haven't worn them for 6 months now and my natural eyelashes have had chance to grow back and feel much longer and fuller, without the gaps from where I couldn't resist pulling off any that felt a little loose.

Nail Make Up | Polka Dot Flowers

Nude and neutral coloured polishes are my usual option because they seem to go with everything and suit my skin tone. There isn't really one brand of nail polishes that I always use, I just buy whichever colours I like however I do find that brands like China Glaze and OPI do last slightly longer than really cheap drugstore ones.

Olympus E-PL7

I bought the Olympus E-PL7 this weekend and I am in love, before even getting started on the technical details of the camera just the look of it is brilliant, fairly vintage looking like the old style cameras. It is also available in plain black or black and silver - you can see them here. The camera bags available by Olympus are amazing too they look like handbags you would actually choose to buy rather than the big bulky fabric ones that you get for most cameras. Eau de Parfum Reviews

Even when you aren't wearing make up or pretty clothes there's one thing you'll always want to have on, perfume! It makes you feel beautiful and feminine. It can remind you of a person or a place. I think most of us like to stick to one special perfume however if you do decide to venture out I have written a review on a couple of the perfumes I like to use. Most of these are quite sweet smelling perfumes as these are my favourite type of scent.
